Competitors without a FFTri licence, or a licence from a federation affiliated to the ITU will have to provide an ID Card or a passport, a doctor’s certificate proving they are fit for taking part in triathlon competitions, issued after the 25th of August 2011, and to subscribe to a « pass-journée » (a one-day licence) on the day of the race.

Time limits are here for the safety of our competitors and to make it easier for us to manage our kind volunteers. Competitors who will complete one of the three parts of the race out of theses limits will be put off-race and will not be allowed to finish the race, even on his own.

|Cancellation / Withdrawal
Should the race be cancelled before the 30th of May 2012, the cost of registration will be fully reimbursed to the competitors. If the race is cancelled after the 1st of June 2012, the organization will keep 50% of the costs of registration, and give back the remaining 50% to the competitors.
If the competitors opt out of the race before the 30th of June 2012, because of an illness or injury (justified by a certificate from a doctor), the competitor will be reimbursed of the full amount of his registration, if he/she has subscribed to the Cancellation Insurance. After the 30th of June 2012, the competitor will get back 50% of these costs, if he/she has subscribed to the Cancelation Insurance.
If the competitor has not subscribed to the Cancelation Insurance for his/her race, no claim for reimbursement can be made.
By entering the race, the competitors authorize the organization, their partners and the media, to use images in which they may appear during their race in Gravelines on the 25th and 26th of August 2012, on all kinds of medium during that day.
According to the French law of the 6th of January 1978 regarding Computing, Information and Freedom, the competitors have to right to access and modify any personal information. If they wish not to receive any proposition from partners of the organization, they can make it known by a letter or an email to the organization stating their name, first name and address.
The races of Gravelines are subject to the current rules of the Fédération Française de Triathlon. The organization is not responsible for any accident or weakness resulting from a bad health condition, or from a competitor failing to abide by the rules of circulation on public roads and the instructions given by the officials. The organization declines all responsibility for lost or stolen property on the site.
Main rules :
- Competitors must wear a hard-top helmet on the cycling part.
- Drafting is forbidden on the cycling part.
- The rule of the black card will be applied to drafters, resulting in a 6 minutes jail penalty.
- It is strictly forbidden for athletes to help each other or benefit from the help of spectators.
- Throwing garbage out of the zones designed for that purpose will result in sanctions.
