Registration Information   • REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT LIMITED .
• ANY INCOMPLETE REGISTRATION FORM WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
• In case of non-participation and/or cancellation, The registration fees and temporary permit fee will be not reimbursed.
• SENT ONCE YOUR REGISTRATION IS CONSIDERED AS DEFINITIVE.
• CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION WILL BE NOTIFIED WITHIN 15 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF YOUR FILE
• The bib number DEFI WIND IS SUBJECT OF A DEPOSIT. A deposit of 30 € must be paid upon delivery of numbers and will be returned AT THE END OF THE DEFI WIND. IF THE RACE NUMBER IS NOT RETURNED AT THE END OF THE DEFI WIND (Sunday, May 20) The deposit will be cashed.
Registration fees   It includes:

• Cost Management and General Organization, Official Défi Wind Tee Shirt and Luggage, the Official Saturday night Dinner.

• From January 16th till April 16th (3 months), registration fees are fixed (excepted the temporary French Federation Sailing insurance which is compulsory / will be delivered on site).

• From April 17th till May 17th (depending on availability), registration fees are significantly increased (+ 100 %). On the 17th of April we have a very good visibility of the event and our needs especially in terms of nautical equipment (security boats and so on…).

> 2) Add the Scan of your 2012 National Sailing permit
> 3) An original medical certificate With no contra-indications for participating in a windsurfing competition, Dated from less than a year ago on May 17th 2012 including the Doctor Stamp please!

> 4) Registration fees:

From January 16th till April 16th (3 months), registration fees are 110€.

From April 17th till May 17th (depending on availability), registration is 220€.

> 5) A Deposit – Bib Number: At Gruissan, a deposit of 30 euros will be requested against delivery bib.
The deposit will be paid back after the race in exchange of the return of the competition Bib number
Registrations Procedures for No Sailing Licensed   As You haven’t got a National sailing permit, The FRENCH TEMPORARY SAILING PERMIT is REQUEST.

The Sailing permit is 25€ (already included is the fees)

From April 17th till May 17th (depending on availability), registration is 245 € (220+25).

4) A Deposit – Bib Number: At Gruissan, a deposit of 30 euros will be requested against delivery bib.
The deposit will be paid back after the race in exchange of the return of the competition Bib number.
1. RULES:   - Minimum age required: to have completed your 13th year on 17 May 2012
- No « official » start will take place in wind < 15 knots.
- Weight vest shall be strictly prohibited..
- Wearing a wetsuit is compulsory.
- There are no restrictions on equipment.
- Identification will be through the numbers allocated by the organization.
- Discard: only 1 heat discarded for the race (from 4 heats validated).
2. NUMBERS ALLOCATION:   Numbers will be allocated at Defi Wind Site – Gruissan Beach) (City map downloadable on www.gruissan-mediterranee.com) - Wednesday 16 May from 10h to 13h and from 14h to 20h - Thursday 17 May from 7h to 10h The presence of each competitor is compulsory.
3. INFORMATION MEETING:   The first information meeting will take place on the site of the DEFI Wind, on Thursday 17 May at 13h.
4. AVERAGE TEMPERATURES:   Air temperature: 20° Water temperature: 17°/18°
5. EQUIPMENT STORAGE:   Your equipment can be stored on the competition site in the area specially reserved for this purpose from 17 to 20 May 8h00.
6. POSSIBILITES OF ACCOMMODATION:   Infos at Office Municipal du Tourisme (accommodation lettings or rental properties)
