Online entries close on Wednesday 4 November 2009. Please note that Active Europe charge a 10% convenience fee per transaction. Entries will be accepted on the day of the event but an extra £2.00 handling fee with be added to the entry fee. Please note no team entries will be accepted on the day of the event.

| Minimum Age |
All competitors must be a minimum of 15 years of age.

| Start of the race : |
Please note transport will be provided by Stagecoach and is available from Stranraer Academy athletics track to the start of the race. Buses will leave the track no later than 11.45am.

- Individuals (Male & Female) - 1st £75.00 2nd £50.00 3rd £25.00
There will be prizes for each of the following categories : Male: 1st Local Male; 1st 2nd 3rd Male Veteran (40-44); 1st 2nd 3rd Male Veteran (45-49); 1st Male Veteran (50-54); 1st Male Veteran (55-59); 1st Male Veteran (60+) Female: 1st Local Female; 1st 2nd 3rd Female Veteran (35-39); 1st 2nd 3rd Female Veteran (40-44);1st Female Veteran (45-49); 1st Female Veteran (50-54); 1st Female Veteran (55+). Team: 1st & 2nd Male and Female.
Spot prizes will be distributed at the finish line.

| Facilities at the athletics track / course : |
Changing facilities, toilets, showers, medical station, and a left luggage area will be available at the Start/Finish Line. Around the course there will be fi rst aid assistance and stewards to help and advise.

| On finishing the race : |
A commemorative medal & t-shirt will be available to all those who cross the finish line.

Stenaline are sponsoring this year s 10k and are offering discounted Irish Sea Crossings (Belfast - Stranraer) to participants. Please note, places are limited and must be booked in advance. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Booking details to be confirmed.

| Important Information : |
1. This event will be run “Under UK Athletics Rules.” 2. When asked by stewards could all competitors please run on the pavements. 3. Please enter on the offi cial entry forms only. 4. Please note that no refund will be given unless the event is cancelled. 5. All competitors must be a minimum of 15 years of age. 6. Please note there is only one prize per person with the exception of spot prizes. 7. For safety reasons, no entries please from people in wheelbarrows, in beds, on roller skates, pushchairs, etc. No pets, dogs or horses - guide dogs are permitted. 8. Athletes must be first claim members of the club that he/she is entered to represent. 9. Please note that athletes will automatically be entered into the team competition for either the male or female categories. Results will be calculated on combined times of the first three 1st claim club members crossing the finish line. 10. No team entries will be accepted on the day of the event.
