La prima tappa di The R.U.N. coincide con una gara dal fascino unico: Roma Appia Run, prova che si corre sul tracciato dell’Appia Antica, carico di storia e reso celebre dalla Maratona dei Giochi Olimpici di Roma ‘60 con la vittoria a piedi scalzi di Abebe Bikila, che aprì le porte dell’Africa al mondo intero. Il percorso di gara equivale ad un vero e proprio tuffo nella storia dell’antica Roma.
