Minimum Age for all entrants is 16 on the day of the race.

| 27th EDITION OF THE RACE! |
- 27 YEARS AND COUNTING: This year's race is the 27th running of the event that is once again sponsored by Brooks with assistance from Brighton & Hove City Council and local traders.
- NEW START TIME: Note the new Start Time of 10am - where as we have started at 11am in recent years, but no more! 10AM it is.......!
- RACE LIMIT: The 2009 race was bigger and better than ever with entry numbers raised to 3,000 - but that is our same limit for this coming November's event. Last year those places were taken up long before the entry system was due to close, so don't delay!
- CHIP TIMING: With chip timing the results will be available on the web before the athletes get home!
- COURSE: A very fast, almost completely flat course along the seafront of Brighton & Hove.
- START & FINISH: conveniently, on Madeira Drive within just a few hundred yards of the famous Brighton Pier & Amusements.
- PARKING: There's limited parking on Madeira Drive itself and on Marine Drive immediately above the Start & Finish area. See below for more.
- FOR THE FAMILY: Not only the Pier, but also the famous "Lanes" shops and the other great shops of Brighton city centre make this a marvellous venue for the family to visit.
- DON'T DELAY: The City of Brighton & Hove is a bustling city that guarantees a great day out for the entire family so to be sure enter early and be ready for a new personal best time on this fabulous course on a famous seafront!

| No entries on Day |
As last year, we will not be taking entries on the day. Entry can be by paper but entering online saves us admin. Don't forget, each year now, we have to turn away hundreds of applicants who have left it too late to enter. Don't delay, enter Now!

| The course |
This is a fast, flat, out-and-back course along Brighton seafront with Start & Finish on Madeira Drive, just a few hundred yards from the famous Brighton Pier.

| Facilities |
There is ample Parking as well as Showers & Changing at the Stanley Deason Leisure Centre (2km from Start).

| Prizes - Individuals & Teams |
Extensive Prize list in all categories, including men's Under 20 and Veterans. Teams will consist of four members. No Team declaration is needed. Team runners MUST wear first claim club vests.
