| The Course |
Approved by the AAI, the course is challenging in areas, but very manageable. You can anticipate one of the most beautiful runs in the world with breath-taking views along the way. Participants can view their completion times on-line hours after the race. We will be putting more detailed course details on the Achill Marathon website shortly.

Apart from the many wonderful finishing prizes for all categories - male, female, masters etc., each runner can look forward to: - A uniquely designed 2010 presentation piece by a local Achill Artist on completion of the run - Achill Half Marathon T-Shirt - Marathon Packs with loads of extras - Refreshments during and after the race - 7 water stations - Free After race Bar-b-Que for all participants - Tented Village with lots of interesting stalls and exhibits. - Spot Prizes.

| Entries |
Entries must be received by 1st May 2010 or before the maximum limit of 2000 participants is reached. NB Postal entries received after the 1st of June will not be included. Postal entry forms can be downloaded from www.achillmarathon.com and posted with entry fee to Achill Marathon, C/O Achill Tourism, Cashel, Achill Island, Co. Mayo. Entry fee is €60, cheques, postal orders and bank drafts should be made payable to Achill Event Management Limited.

| Weekend Events |
See the world famous Achill Pipe Bands, Irish dancing, music and fun the whole weekend long. Enjoy all the live entertainment, numerous stalls, Bar-B-Q hosted in the Tented Village at the finish of the race. Full program of events & entertainment available on-line and will be updated closer to the event.

| Please Note |
Please Note that your Race Number is in the confirmation E-mail you will receive. It is advisable that you print this and bring it with you on race day. Once you have entered you will receive a confirmation E-Mail which confirms your entry into the race. You will not receive any further correspondence prior to the race.
New this year we will be using Champion Chip technology, please can you advise if you already have your own chip and will be bringing this to the event.
