Event Description   The Coral Leisure Half Marathon &10km will take place on March 25th next starting from the fantastic venue of Wicklow's Historic Gaol. This is the 3rd year of this popular, scenic and atmospheric race. Back by popular demand is the Half Marathon. This makes it the first Half marathon on the 2012 calendar. The unique Finish area in the Courtyard of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol and the scenic Coastal course has been a big hit with runners and walkers from all over the country. To see a short video of race click here. Finishers will receive a Medal, a shower afterwards in the local Coral Leisure centre and refreshments in the Grand Hotel. The race will also provide a quality Training top and a timing chip to record your walking or running time. There is a dedicated walking section which starts earlier for the Half Marathon to ensure everyone enjoys the atmospheric Finish area in the Courtyard of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.
