What?
The Limassol Marathon GSO - Cyprus is the major running event in the island of Cyprus. Limassol, is the second largest city of Cyprus and the host of the 5th Limassol Marathon GSO. Besides the Full Marathon, a Half Marathon,10K & Corporate Race, Kids Fun Run 2Km and a 5km Charity Walk will also take place, on the same day.
Where?
The start and finish are on the seafront of Limassol and the race follows a coastal route via the towns of Limassol City, Akti Olympion, Germassogia, Agios Tychon, Ancient Amathus and Pyrgos village. You will never be far away from the sea, thus our slogan ‘Run Along the Waves’.
When?
Organized by Olympus Event Management and GSO, and supported by the Cyprus Tourism Organization, the 2011 edition will take place on February the 20th.
Why?
The Limassol Marathon GSO, is a great chance to run a very flat, fast and traffic free race ideal for runners of all abilities to achieve Personal Best times. Enjoy the party capital of Cyprus, Limassol, which is also a great winter training venue, with good climate and low hotel rates.

What a better way to show our love and support towards our fellow men, women and children who need it most?
We have included a 5K Charity Walk for people who want to take part, and at the same time contribute to the Charity Organization of their choice.
The Charity Walk is not for competing in the athletic sense as all participants will already be winners in our hearts by raising much needed funds for charity.
Your fundraising will make a difference.
You can either be a member of the team of one of the participating Charity organizations, or take part and contribute to any organization of your choice.
The most important thing to remember is that all the proceeds from the participation fees in the Charity Walk, end up to Charity.
This way you show your love and support by taking part and raising funds, and we show our love and support by donating all proceeds from the Charity Walk participation fees to Charity Organizations.
