Brief detail of event

The Fort 2 Fort Challenge is bringing a new cycling experience to Cork’s cycling enthusiasts, offering an option of cycling 50km or 80km of a spectacular route around Cork Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world! The challenge which begins at 10am on Sunday 1st April 2012 at Trabolgan Holiday Village, will take cyclists through some of the most spectacular scenery and routes in East Cork, and draws to a close at Fort Camden in Crosshaven. Cyclists will be welcomed back on their return for much needed hot drinks and refreshments! For those who want to rise to the challenge, registration for Fort 2 Fort is €50, and thanks to the very generous support of Ulster Bank and Victoria Cross Cycles ALL of the funds raised will benefit both Lions Clubs of Cork projects and the Mercy Foundation.
