Event Details

South Coast Endurance presents the exciting South Coast Adventure Race featuring Hill running, cycling and kayaking which will take place along the stunning south coast of Ireland featuring some of the most scenic and challenging landscapes West Cork has to offer. Setting off with a 4.5 km trail over mixed terrain passing through some of the best undiscovered forestry tracks, followed by an enduring 34 km cycle on sealed roads along the coastline with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean rounding the southerly tip of Toe Head where you will eventually enter Ireland’s only Marine Wildlife Reservation of Lough Hyne and take on the 2km Challenge of the 200m assent to the top of Knockomagh Hill and sample some of the best scenery at the summit. To complete the coarse you will Kayak 2km up the Ilen River and finish will a 1.5 km dash to the finish line where refreshments and entertainment awaits your arrival… For furhter information and Race updates check out our website www.southcoastendurance.ie.
